SEED School Md Appoints Steve Fedder as Chair of the Board of Trustees Dec. 8, 2021
SEED School of Maryland announced additions to their Board of Trustees to include a new chairman in addition to two new members. Steve Fedder, Attorney at Fedder & Janofsky, LLC, will serve as SEED’s new Chairman of the Board of Trustees and new Board members include Monique Booker, Founding Partner at SB & Company, LLC and Brian P. Field, Partner at Venable LLP. They join a prestigious group of SEED Board of Trustees whose goals are to further the mission of the School and provide guidance, expertise, counseling and leadership. Steven K. Fedder, with more than 40 years of practice, is known as a trial lawyer who readily understands, interprets and clarifies complex business and financial disputes. Steve is a member of Fedder & Janofsky LLC, a litigation and employment boutique located in Maryland and Washington, DC. He believes his communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other decision-makers is the key to developing persuasive arguments. His practice covers a wide variety of areas, including trial and appellate work, complex business litigation, franchise and dealership disputes, and partnership/corporate disputes. He is admitted to the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. Previously he was a partner at DLA Piper and Weinberg & Green.
Currently, Steve serves as the Chair of the Board for the SEED School of Maryland. He has previously served as Chair of the Board of the Maryland Food Bank and on many other non-profit boards over the years. Steve is a proud graduate of UMBC and the University of Baltimore Law School. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, the Maryland Bar Foundation, and Litigation Counsel of America, and is recognized in Best Lawyers (Tier One – Franchise Law) and Maryland Super Lawyers. He was selected in 2017 by The Daily Record as a Leadership in Law honoree.
